Couples Psychotherapy
Issues of intimacy can be one of the greatest challenges in personal relationships. Many couples feel confused and sometimes embarrassed about the fact that their relationship is not what they envisioned, wanted, or expected it to be.
Couples therapy, can help to demystify your relationship by opening the way to true intimacy, that begins will developing clear communication skills and being able to express and receive communications and feelings, in an none-attacking and none-defensive way.
Couples treatment can help to improve communication, increase physical and emotional intimacy, heal past hurts, and grievances, and develop more realistic expectations of each other and your relationship.
A healthy relationship also makes room for individuality as well as togetherness, and therapy can assist couples in defining and maintaining effective and respectful boundaries, both in their relationship, and with others-such as extended family members.
